Here at Enochs we strive to produce to Great Fish & Chips and in our quest to maintain consistent quality we have great relationships with our local suppliers who over the years have sourced for us local, national and in some cases international produce to help bring you the best on offer.
Gwyn Morris & Sons, Potato Merchant, Llanrwst – have been supplying Enochs for three generations and have always brought us the best Maris Piper available.
We do not use additives in the preparation of our chips, they are freshly peeled and chipped on the premises everyday, cooked to perfection in 100% quality vegetable fat so you can enjoy crisp golden chips that are light and fluffy in the middle.
The array of fish we have to offer comes from all over, we only use Cod from Iceland and try to buy from particular trawlers who we have found to be consistent in the quality of fish they produce, sometimes at a premium. We buy Cod from managed stocks that are large and more mature which we then cut to size.
This summer we have introduced to our regular menu, Cape Hake from an MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certified supplier. The MSC runs an exciting and ambitious program, working with partners to transform the world’s seafood markets to a sustainable basis.
The Family business Mermaid Seafood, Llandudno, established over 35 years ago again have been supplying Enochs with a variety of quality seafood especially Fresh Haddock and many other seasonal specialities. We believe this close relationship with suppliers is key to bringing you our valued customer with the quality and consistency you deserve.
